12 days around Mont Blanc is a physical and emotional challenge you want to repeat. The Vytivka team thought of everything: from mountain huts to fondue at the finish. We walked, laughed and cried at the beauty.

The TMB is a true Alpine classic, but with Vytivka it becomes a personal story. The guide knew every trail, our packs travelled separately — all we had to do was walk and watch the world change around us.

Three countries in twelve days. We passed through France, Italy and Switzerland, slept in mountain refuges and each evening shared what we were grateful for. It's a journey that changes you.

    FAQ

What else to know before the start

Serious athletic preparation is essential. The Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB) is a rigorous multi-day trek around Mont Blanc, spanning three countries (France, Italy, Switzerland) with massive elevation changes and mountain passes up to 2537 m. You must be prepared to hike 15–18 km a day with up to 1300 m of elevation gain. 2.5 months before the TMB begins, we create a personalised physical training plan for you and track your progress

The individual preparation programme starts 2.5 months before the trek: 2 video calls with our experienced team leader, a personalised sports training plan designed for high-altitude trekking, specific gear recommendations for the Alps, a shared TMB group chat, and physical progress tracking. Just before we set off around Mont Blanc, we hold a final team call

    — Up to 60 days before the journey starts — 100% refund — Between 59 and 32 days — you can use 100% of your deposit for any Vytivka journey within the next 12 months — 31 days or less — funds are non-refundable, as we will have already paid for accommodation, vehicle rentals, etc. (nevertheless, we will do our best to return as much as possible for you to use on another journey) — In the event of cancellation by Vytivka, 100% of the paid funds will be refunded or you will be offered a transfer to another date/journey

We sleep in tents for the entire TMB route – staying at the finest campsites along the trail in France, Italy, and Switzerland. This is a bivouac-style adventure with basic comforts: every alpine campsite has toilets and fresh water, and some offer hot showers. It's the authentic Tour du Mont Blanc format for those seeking a genuine multi-day expedition experience

Our menu is designed to sustain the serious physical exertion of a multi-day trek around Mont Blanc: highly nutritious daily breakfasts, substantial high-energy snacks on the trail, and for dinner, we either cook together at the campsite or visit local alpine refuges for fondue and authentic cuisine from Savoie, Valle d'Aosta, and Valais

A maximum of 5 travellers plus an experienced expedition leader. This ensures absolute safety on the high-altitude TMB passes, a comfortable pace, and the right rhythm for every participant. It is one of the most intimate group sizes available for the Tour du Mont Blanc

Yes, you can rent tents, trekking poles, and other bivouac gear for the Tour du Mont Blanc. We provide recommendations and links to trusted alpine equipment rental services in Chamonix and Courmayeur

Summer on the alpine TMB route typically brings +15–25°C in the valleys during the day and +5–10°C at night at altitude. However, mountain weather around Mont Blanc is notoriously volatile: rain, dense fog, fierce winds, or even snow on the passes (Col de la Seigne 2516 m, Grand Col Ferret 2537 m) can occur in any month. We prepare every participant well in advance with a comprehensive gear list

The TMB is one of Europe's most popular multi-day treks and is exceptionally well-marked across France, Italy, and Switzerland. Your experienced team leader strictly monitors the pace, weather conditions, and physical state of the group at every pass. We rigorously verify the physical readiness of participants before the start and adapt the programme to real-time alpine conditions. We also carry satellite communication and maintain a solid evacuation plan

The Tour du Mont Blanc expedition crosses three countries surrounding the highest peak in the Alps (4808 m) and includes: the Col de la Seigne pass (2516 m, French-Italian border), Grand Col Ferret (2537 m, Italy-Switzerland), Fenêtre d'Arpette (2665 m), the Mer de Glace glacier, an ascent to Aiguille du Midi (3842 m), sweeping panoramas of Mont Blanc, Grandes Jorasses, and Aiguille Verte, the majestic alpine valleys of Chamonix, Courmayeur, and La Fouly, and the thrilling final descent back into Chamonix
