Pavlo is very organised and thoughtful; all these details: what to eat, when, and how? He's a bit of a control freak, but that was important to me when entering something new. It's brilliant when there's a person who loves and is passionate about this, yet also thinks about simple, everyday things. He is a fantastic 'child whisperer'; he enjoys playing with them, and they are thrilled and agree to do new, fun things with him.

I felt incredibly calm and confident with our guide Pavlo. Any questions, mine or the group's, were resolved perfectly. It allowed me to truly relax and immerse myself in the rest and exploration.

I've had several hikes with Pavlo. One of them was in the snowy, wet Carpathians. Long before the start, I knew everything about the gear: what I was wearing, what was in my backpack, what was planned, and what was for backup. And when we set off, everyone was heard. Constant check-ups on the team's condition, pauses to change clothes or for other needs. Thanks for preparing us for the unknown, which helped us enjoy the trip and the fantastic company.
Surf and green hikes without exhaustion, followed by relaxing hot springs
Zero spartan conditions: we return to a modern villa after the routes
Island zen without rush: we leave time for long breakfasts and the ocean
Car rental, route searching, and bookings are our pain. We take on all the routine so you can just turn off your brain, look out the window at the ocean, and decide nothing
Instead of cramped hotel rooms, we rent a spacious house for our people. Proper lighting, design, and shared evenings in the living room — a space where it's pleasant to be and that you want to photograph
No need to be an athlete. Our hikes are more of an intense walk through beautiful jungles, not survival sports. The guide always adapts the pace to the group so everyone is comfortable
No random travellers. We gather an intimate company with shared values. It's a safe environment where you can find friends or simply stay comfortably silent
Itinerary
The route stays flexible: weather or local surprises might shift it. The trip lead's top priority is always your comfort and safety 😌

A basic level of fitness is ideal. This Azores journey features two main hikes, a surf lesson in the Atlantic, and active days, but without a gruelling athletic pace. If you can comfortably walk 10–15 km a day, you'll love it. We keep the Azores programme flexible, as the archipelago's weather loves to keep us on our toes

Almost everything you need for a fully immersive Azores experience: accommodation in a private house, transport across São Miguel island, breakfasts, picnics, shared dinners, kayaking on a crater lake or cycling, entry to the volcanic Parque da Grená, Terra Nostra hot springs and Poça da Dona Beija thermal baths, an ocean surf lesson, and a visit to an Azorean pineapple plantation. Flights, a few restaurant dinners, and optional whale watching are not included
The Azores are more about restoration, hot volcanic springs, the Sete Cidades crater lakes, the ocean, and a gentler pace of adventure. Madeira is more dramatic and intense, featuring canyoning and the rigorous Pico Areeiro–Ruivo trek. While the Azores also offer surfing and jungle hikes, the overall vibe is softer and more deeply connected to the ocean, complete with whale and dolphin watching in the Atlantic
Once you book, we'll send a comprehensive packing list, but the essentials include: trekking shoes or boots for volcanic trails, a high-quality raincoat (showers are common), a dark swimsuit for the Terra Nostra hot springs (the iron-rich water leaves a rust tint), sunscreen, and a small daypack for our island explorations
Yes, it's exceptionally well-suited. Most participants on our bespoke Azores journeys travel solo. The setup of a shared house, picnics by crater lakes, and a flexible itinerary quickly transforms an intimate group of up to 8 individuals into a tight-knit team
We select our hiking routes based on real-time weather conditions, not just a rigid paper itinerary. If the island's weather shifts, we seamlessly swap days or activities. Your experienced expedition leader constantly monitors the logistics, the pace of our intimate group, and safety on both the trails and in the Atlantic Ocean
